There’s something about self-portraits that have always intrigued me.

Studying art history, I discovered many past painters also practiced self-portraiture. For me, it allowed me to explore both various art mediums and the self. My shape, texture, colour, and motion reveal how I felt during those moments. This preservation of reflection is something I cherish and hope to continue to practice routinely.

Featured below are self-portraits from 2016 to 2021 with various mixed media (charcoal, pencil, pen, markers, and acrylic paint).
